Rugged On-Vehicle Weighing

BulkWeigh 1155 and BulkWeigh 1300 are specifically engineered on-board weighing systems for bulk tipping rigid, semi-trailer and drawbar vehicles. The durable BulkWeigh systems are designed for high accuracy weighing in rough environments utilizing four load cells mounted to the vehicle, achieving impressive accuracies of 1.0% or better.

Bulk haulage operators cannot afford slips in load monitoring accuracy, whatever the loading or road conditions. Our two BulkWeigh products, BulkWeigh 1155 and BulkWeigh 1300, are designed to perform consistently even in the toughest environments.

BulkWeigh systems monitor GVW, net payload weight, axle weights, vehicle tipping or body lifting threats as standard. A combination of visual data feeds, alerts and audible alarms ensure operators always have the full picture during loading, unloading and transport, helping to raise safety standards and guarantee compliance.

The BulkWeigh 1155 digital indicator is suitable for DIN radio, dash or trailer chassis mounting. The 1300 system comes with a flexible dash mount indicator that features a colour touch screen, advanced tipping stability controls and support for up to three CCTV cameras for rearview and blind-spot monitoring. Optional remote displays, printers and external sounders are also available.

AxleWatch

Displays individual axle weights in real time, providing the data needed to ensure even load distribution and avoid the risk of exceeding axle load limits.

TipWatch

An award-winning stability feature included with all BulkWeigh systems as standard, TipWatch guards against unsafe tipping caused by uneven ground or uneven load distribution. A highly accurate inclinometer located in the system junction box continuously monitors the level of the ground and angle of the chassis or body, combining this with load distribution data and sending a feed to the digital indicator. If a side-to-side slope of more than 3% is detected or the load is more than 40% off centre, an alarm is activated.

Body-Up

Alerts the driver if the tipper body is raised via an audible alarm and on-screen message.

Trailer Identification

When a trailer is swapped, the BulkWeigh unit on the tractor automatically identifies the corresponding VPG Onboard Weighing system, so there is no need to recalibrate – making switchovers fast and efficient

Warranty

Both BulkWeigh systems come with two years full warranty, including parts and labour.

The durable PM Onboard Bulk Weigh system is designed for high accuracy in rugged environments. Waterproofed to marine quality standards, BulkWeigh is the first choice for bulk transport applications suitable for a variety of trucks from 17 to 44 tonne GVW. PM Onboard’s BulkWeigh system provides TipWatch as standard utilising inclinometer based technology within the chassis mounted junction box to monitor load distribution and vehicle positioning on uneven ground. AxleWatch provides operators with individual axle weights and gross vehicle weight which enables even distribution of load and aids drivers to be legally loaded on each axle. Body-up alerts the driver if the body is raised. Retro compatibility makes the 1155 indicator suitable for new and existing systems and Trailer Identification makes it ideal for mixed fleets. The 1155 indicator is a lightweight indicator suitable for DIN radio mount, dash mount or trailer mount.
